Christopher Ben Hayes
Christopher Ben Hayes, our prestigious chef, is an accomplished professional. There is nothing that our chef cannot prepare at the highest level. Ben studied cooking in the UK. He has worked alongside famous chefs such as Jamie Oliver and Paul Rankin, worked in five restaurants that carry Michelin stars, including the Lords of the Manor, Upper Slaughter in Gloucestershire, Roscou Restaurant in Northern Ireland, the Restaurant of Patrick Guilbaud in Dublin and also in the Square Restaurant and River Café in London.

Ben worked at the Catering Mosimann in London on a large number of events, including for royalty, for Wimbledon and other high-sphere events.

His passion for cooking is evident in each of his dishes, which adopt creative and novel ideas, resulting in exquisite tastes, always looking for the essence of the product. His deep knowledge of each ingredient, squeezing its essence and virtue, is reflected in each creation, leaving its mark on each plate, achieving a sublime finish.

La Plaza restaurants are surrounded by the most beautiful and historic landmarks of the city. One of our restaurants is located in the Plaza de La Merced, just a few steps from the birthplace of Pablo Picasso.

The other restaurant can be found next to one of the wonders of Malaga, the Roman amphitheatre and the Alcazaba, one of the most important works preserved in Spain. From our terrace you can enjoy stunning and romantic views of the building, which as the sun sets amazes us with its unique lighting.
